It is a good knife but for the money it should be sharp out of the box.

Not Sharp

If you sell a knife that is supposed to be sharp 1 side, Blunt on the other, the sharp side should be razor sharp, especially at this price point. I wore through the diamond rough side of my smith stone and it still hadnt got it down to a true edge. Still square. I wish I had spent a couple bucks more and bought the MB !!!
Not Tims fault, Minnesota is a top end shop.

Not sharp out of the box

This seems like a quality knife but It wasnt even close to sharp out of the box. For $70.00 it should come razor sharp ready to go. If I wanted a dull knife I would have bought a knife without a shaving side. Necker needs to step their game up. Thanks to the Caven family for the excellent service and great traps, I will be back again and again.

Well, Opinions are like elbows, everyone has a couple of them!
I love this knife! It is the only one I will use, shave beaver with one side, push coon with the other!

Not for Me

Never understood the hype behind this knife. I see a lot of folks using them but I found it to be sub standard. Its light and the blade is to thin for fat to easily roll over. I could also feel it bow a little on the beam. I sharpened up the two sided blade and kept with it on dozen coon or so but finally put it down and never picked it up again.
