This video is highly entertaining AND it is highly educational. Kirk covers cage traps. He covers conibears 330s. He uses footholds. And he uses snares. I learned more about setting 330s from Kirk Dekalb than I have from anyone else and I have over 40 trapping DVDs. He blends a 330 like it disappears in the water many videos simply have the trap half out of the water, or if its under the water, its not blocked down as well. I also learned a lot about beaver snaring. I recommend purchasing this and Trappin Tales together as I did. Trappin Tales is more entertaining Catching the Numbers is more educationally focused, but I have learned a lot from both. Video quality is top notch. Audio quality is the best Ive heard. |

This video has incredible video and sound quality and is as good as youll find in any hunting or trapping video. Kirks DVD is very entertaining and easy to watch for which I would rate it a 5 in that aspect but it lacks educational value. In education I would give it a 2. It does briefly cover Koro and Hancock traps which are rarely covered anywhere else. If youre looking for entertainment, its a good watch. If you want knowledge, purchase another DVD. |
