bridger 1.75 |
11/14/2019 |
I have 4 dozen of these 2 coil I use for fox and coyotes. Ive caught multiple fox in them and work great. Full pad catches no coyotes yet. Im sure they will hold up great. Only thing I had to do was file the dog quite a bit and center swivel. I also have half dozen laminated and 4 coiled. I havent used yet. I do need setters for those because of laminations. would definately recommend to a mixed line trapper. |

Best Mixed Species Trap On The Market!!! |
9/19/2018 |
The Bridger #1 3/4 Offset Jaw is the best trap on the market if you are a mixed species trapper. I catch Coyotes, Fox, Bobcat and the occasional Raccoon with these bad boys. After I 4 coil them, dye and wax they are ready to go. Dont have one bad thing to say about this trap, absolutely love them!!! |

BEST TRAP ON THE MARKET |
12/8/2017 |
I have dozens of these little babies, and they are my all time favorite trap! I have the offset and regular jaws and everything I own is four coiled. Being from Minnesota, we have BIG coyotes here and this trap with its rigid construction proves that the Midwest cant make a coyote big enough to test this trap! Ready to go out of the box!! FIVE STARS! |

sharp edges |
10/29/2016 |
This trap was sent to me as a free trap along with my purchase of several other trapping supplies. The dog on this trap came bent so I couldnt even set it. I also noticed that almost every corner on this trap was sharp. The part that stood out the most was where the metal was cut out to make the jaws offset. It was sharp enough that if any animal was to step into the trap it would cut into the animals leg. I can fix this but I have some filing to do. The holding strength of this trap was good for the price. I would recommend the MB-450s they are by far my favorite trap! |

Bridger 1 3/4 off set jaw |
2/18/2016 |
I bought a dozen for fox and coyotes as a lower priced option. I four- coiled them before use. I caught three coyotes in them and they held well. All three bent the dogs and one bent the pan. A study trap for the money but better suited for fox and an occasional coyote. |

Bridger #1.75 Trap |
2/4/2016 |
I purchased both the regular jaw and off set jaw this season. After reading some other reviews, I 4 coiled them all. Getting a coil spring trap that is base plated and night latched for a reasonable price is what drew me in the most. I was not disappointed. I caught several coyotes and no pull-outs. In fact, I caught 3 coyotes at one set and never had to retune or readjust anything. This is a good trap at a good price. |

Great trap |
1/6/2016 |
Im selling all of my 1.5s and switching to these. They are one of the strongest little traps i have had my hands on very sturdy and the night latch and factory baseplate make them that much better. Theyre one of the best multi species traps out their in my opinion small enough for coon and big enough and strong enough for coyotes. Bridger really topped my expectations on this trap! |

BRIDGER - TRIED & TRUE... |
10/15/2015 |
The BRIDGER 1.75 OFF-SET COIL SPRING is a great K-9 trap. When you might be targeting red fox & coyotes, itll get the job done, and itll get it done well. BRIDGER is my choice for value and quality. Thank you MTP. |

Not a coyote trap |
10/6/2015 |
Not very happy with my new 1.75s. I went with them over the 1.65s because they were recommended to me by MTP staff. They are very flimsy and cheaply built. The cross piece is very light and the pan is very thin. They should be ok for fox, but they will not last long if a coyote steps on the pan, especially on a 2 or 3 day check in my rocky trapping conditions. The 1.65 is a much stouter trap. Still looking for an affordable, mixed species trap, and unfortunately, this trap is not what I had hoped for. These are basically a 1.5 sized trap. Do not believe other reviewers who say this is a stout trap, because it is not. I should have gone with the 1.65... |

Great trap |
5/20/2015 |
This trap is great! Wouldnt settle for anything else, this trap is plenty big enough for coyotes which is what Im targeting. Trapped 4 coyotes with this trap and they werent going anywhere! Night latch is what I liked the most about this trap. Fast and reliable trap. If you arent fully confident about the size, or if itll hold a coyote.. Go to a bridger #2! Being honest , but this trap is plenty big enough. Love it |

Awesome trap |
1/22/2015 |
Very very good trap for the money, Im 15 and cant really afford anything like mbs. Ive caught both fox and coyote with this trap but the coyote bent the pan but it was probably one of the biggest Yotes Ive ever saw and the levers wouldnt go down all the way like it originally would but other than that, thes traps are awesome |

Excellent trap |

I would recommend adding extra coils to these traps-which only costs $0.90/trap-bought these traps are excellent for coyote and bobcat. |

Great Fox Trap |

I have used them for 2 seasons and they are perfect for fox. Do not try to catch coyotes and have not caught one yet but have confidence it will hold them. Thank you for a Awesome product. |

Great Fox Trap |
1/9/2015 |
I bought two and received them two days ago, caught a grey fox on the first night, caught another in the same set last night, my other trap last night was out of the ground with coyote hair in it, and the area wasnt real tore up, so Im guessing he didnt step right on the pan, and got out real quick. I bought them to catch fox though and they have done their job, I wouldnt buy them to only catch coyotes though, go with something bigger. |

Coyote catching machines |
11/28/2014 |
This is a good trap for the money. I have caught around 11 coyotes and 1 bobcat in the last 10 days. Probably 8 of them where caught in this trap. I did experience a bent pan on one trap and maybe a bent frame where the dog connects on another trap. Good traps though so far. I might get some more. |

very good trap for the money but after first season springs become weak so your best bet is to four coil from the get go. would i buy more ? yes but only if they are four coiled |

I ran 2 dozen of the straight jaws this past season with good results, I had one pan bent which was annoying for such an otherwise sturdy built trap. I am buying a few dozen offsets due to the otherwise great performance. Great trap for the money!! |

LOTS TO LIKE! |
2/3/2014 |
A great trap for the money! This is a very good multi species trap that everyone can afford. CONS; the pan does not hold up to serious coyote use. It is very annoying to have to bend it back after every catch and causes way too much downtime. Also the stamped offset jaws have sharp edges that need to be filed before use. |

Decent Trap |
1/15/2014 |
This is a solid well made trap. Strong enough for the biggest of coyotes, and great for bobcats. Had a couple of unexplainable misses, but it might have been deer walking along the trail. I would recommend these for beginners. My only real complaints are how small the pans are, and how flimsy they can be. They bend pretty easy after holding a coyote for awhile. |

WOW!! |
11/10/2013 |
I was shocked at the performance of these traps. They grab high and hold strong. With trap theft at a all time high, I use affordable traps on public land and these are proving to be the best performers. Thanks Bridger and MTP for providing such a great product at a affordable price. |

Very welll built trap! |

I have baught a few of these traps and for coiled them and laminated them. Although i have yet to plant one in the ground they should be an awsome trap for fox and anyone that has a muti species trapline. |

Solid product |
8/7/2013 |
A stout little trap that I have no doubt will hold a coyote well. Ive chosen to 4 coil just in case as they are smaller 1.5 size than I was expecting but the square jaw and baseplating helps alot. |

Nice trap for the money. |
6/19/2013 |
Its not a MB, but its a lot sturdier than a Duke. Nice trap for the price. Jaws needed filing and dog needed adjusting out of the box. Not a big fan of the night latch on these. Replaced swivels with crunch proofs and added a double stake ring. Not much work needed to get these ready for the line. All in all a nice sturdy trap for the money. |

These traps are very nice for the money! With laminations there gentle enough for a coon, but even hold a pretty nasty coyote. |
