Music wire coilsprings are stronger than most manufacturer’s coilsprings of the same size and they will last much longer. Strong springs help prevent misses by making the trap faster. They fit most coilspring traps. Highly recommended to power up traps with laminated jaws or rubber padded traps.

Makes old traps better than new! |

I quit trapping many years ago due to disability and sold all my equipment. Lately I’ve been missing it terribly so I thought I’d find a few traps and get started again. I found some rusty gold online and cleaned them all up, but all the coil springs were very weak. I have several Lake and Lamb and Victor #2 square jaw traps that I retrofitted with these springs and holy man are they ever fast and wicked strong!! The only negative: with my old, arthritic hands I need to stand on them to set them!! Can’t wait to set these for coyotes and cats! I know lots of folks will say #2’s are too small for these, but in the past I’ve caught lots of them with springs not nearly this good on #2’s.. |

Holy Strong |

Put a few of these on 550s, do not recommend this size for them though. These springs are no joke, I plan on using them on my #3 Bridgers instead since they are so powerful. |

very strong |

I put these on a dozen of my # 2 victor square jaws. They are really strong, my traps were pretty old and the levers are weak these springs bent them quite a bit. I would save them for a newer trap that has good levers on it. They sure are strong and really help bust up through a frozen crust of dirt. |
