Get the better Jhook tool, unless you know you’re gonna lose it. This one didn’t last very long, maybe 150 hooks is all. |

Tool works good and does the trick. I always have to wear deerskin gloves when using because every time I dont, I slip on one and it stamps a nice blood blister. |

better than pliers |

These work pretty good but DONT put your fingers or any part of you skin in-between the handles they will get pinched and it hurts. They work great for closing s hooks and j hooks but not that great for opening them. The hooks on the side could be a little longer to help with that and the handles could be bent differently so that they could close all the way to close the j hooks with out closing the handles all the way and possibly pinching your hand. |

Handy tool! |

Works 10 times better than just using a pliers. It could use some rubber sleeves on the handles to prevent pinching but otherwise a great tool! |

They are ok |

Im glad I got them as the free gift. They are heavy duty enough, but the handles will pinch you bad when they slip on the j-hook. Solid handles or plastic sleeves on them would help a bunch. |
