best instructional land trappers book ever
1/27/2017
I bought this book over 30 years ago and glad to see its still around. I was trapping primarily for red fox and having very limited success. With lots of snapped traps, out right misses, and every incidental trash animal you can name, I was becoming desperate for some no bull shit information. I had read a few books on fox trapping, and talked with some old timers that were catching fox, but they were obviously and probably intentionally leaving out the good stuff. When I found this book it was like walking out of a dark room into bright day light. The information in this book will put you miles ahead of a lot of very good trappers out there. The season after reading this book, I kicked some serious old timer ass in fox numbers. Great book, a must read.
