This is the best selling beaver knife in the world. The high carbon steel blade will take a razor sharp edge and hold it. Also considered excellent for fat, greasy coon. |

Sharp |

Tried to skin my first beaver with a very sharp and pointy pocket knife but after cutting my thumb three times, I decided to get this knife. Its awesome. It came very sharp right out of the package so it makes skinning go a lot faster. Its also a lot safer because youre not likely to poke yourself. One recommendation: I did notice that it dulled quite a bit after using against fur on the ankles and bone near the beavers face. It was easy enough to sharpen but Ill be more careful next time. |

Nice knife, not real sharp out of the box but after a few licks on the tungsten sharpener it got better. I think the handle could be a bit more comfortable though. Good knife for the price. |

This is one essential tool in my fur shed. The shape is perfect for working the hide off of a beaver. It also works well for fleshing around the head and legs. I even use the backside of the blade for knocking fat off muskrats. |

This knife is amazing, cut skinning time in less than half, Dont need to worry about cutting through the skin. Also works great for fleshing around the legs. Hands down greatest knife on the planet. |
