Well worth the money |
3/5/2020 |
This catcher is extremely well built and much more robust than you would think it would be for the relatively low price. I specifically purchased this in order to release large dogs that occasionally get into my coyote sets. This catch pole does the trick and keeps me safe while making the release. |

Best catch pole for your money. Is it heavy? Yes, but it does what its suppose to and will release anything you need to release. |

Tough |

Ive never had a problem with my 4 footer. Thing is tough as nails with a heavy duty cable. Bent the rod one time and just straightened it in the vice and kept right on getting up. Mine is probably 10-11 years old. |

One Tough Catch-Pole |

I bought this catch pole over 20 years ago and use it almost every day during our trapping season in Mississippi. It has been bent, run over with my four-wheeler, dragged in mud, rained on and bitten by animals time after time and is still functional. |

I dont know why others are having problems… This is a great tool!! |

Im very sorry for the people who have had problems with this tool but several have admitted that they made a mistake or really didnt know how to use it. This thing is made of strong hard steel and has an outstanding large cable that you can store easily when the handle is closed so you dont have an open loop snagging other equipment. You can totally rely on this device. Its easy to turn the open loop cable by just turning the T-handle in your hand to get around your targets neck. Theres a reason they dont sell a replacement cable for this. Ive had mine for 10 years and never had a problem. IMHO, this is an outstanding product. Tight chains to you all. |

Steel Animal Pole- 48 Inch |
8/3/2014 |
Was able to release a black bear weighing in at around 150lbs and several bobcats. I have not had a problem with this heavy duty product yet. Well worth the investment when compared to the price of stiches. |

I bought this catch pole & the the stop popped off & i almost got it good from that dog that got in my trap. I did repaired it by putting a small cable clamp on it & i havent had not one more problem . It should have worked correctly in the first place |
