Each year we have several hundred coyote pelts garment tanned open like a rug instead of cased as the open rug style is getting more and more popular. These Grade #2 coyotes are from Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas. They all have faces and tails. They are Grade #2 due to small knife cuts or small bullet holes which is normal in the coyote business. Freshly tanned with very soft, subtle leather. Great for rugs, wall hanging, table runners, craft, or hat and garment making. These open pelts measure an average of 54” from tip of nose to tip of tail with some being larger and some smaller. The average width at the hips is 20” with an average width across the shoulders of 15”
