MTP Recommendation: One of the best Wolf and Cougar traps on the market.
Laminated offset jaws. X-HD springs. Finally a coilspring trap that will stand up to abuse by either wolf or cougar that you can actually afford to buy. The MB-750 "Wolf" has the same heavy frame and jaws as the MB-750 "Beaver" plus extra heavy music wire springs and a super heavy-duty wolf swivel with welded rivets coming off the D-ring baseplate. Offset jaws (your choice of 1/4" or 3/8") with 3/16" thick X 1/2" wide flat lamination strips are standard equipment. Laminated 1/4" or 3/8" offset jaws. (As most "Wolfers" prefer to develop their own chain set-ups, the MB-750 "Wolf" comes with 5 links of MB #5 XHD chain and a wolf swivel.)
Made in Minnesota with pride!
What is the difference between a regular and offset jaw? When the trap is in the fired position and you are looking straight down on the trap if the jaws touch together it is a regular or closed jaw trap. If there is a gap where the jaws meet that is called an offset jaw trap.
