There is nothing wrong with these traps. Need to add a mid chain swivel, and then start trapping. Dont listen to the bad reviews. These are not mb550s, so you cant expect mb550 results from a trap that costs half the price.

like the other guy said, they are real flimsy. If looking for a inexpensive trap thats actually worth using look to the bridger #2. Way better than duke. These dukes will hold most animals but even a big coon will bend them in places tht shouldnt be bent.
Better traps out there
Ok trap. If you choose to buy this one, youre either on a tight budget or are just after coon and possum. Weak dog, levers are so flimsy that both sides of the lever dont come up equally, which costs you holding power. Springs are strong enough for first year, but after only 2 yrs, I had all kinds of critters slipping out of all of them I have 6 of these traps. Never have got a coyote in one of these. Just save up your money and buy the MB550. You will will actually make more profit in the long run, cause you will have fewer pull-outs.
