 Detailed Description

Bridger #155 Bodygripper

·       Target Species: marten, mink, fisher and raccoon.

·       Jaw Spread: 5” x 5”

·       Chain: 14” of #2 TL Chain  (16 total links)

·       Trap ring at end of chain

·       Total Chain Length: 15 ½” including trap ring

MTP Recommendation: Great trap for marten, mink, fisher and raccoon.

The Bridger 5X5 double spring trap features a 5" inside jaw spread. This double spring trap is compact and has plenty of spring power. A great size trap for marten, mink, and still large enough for fisher and raccoon. If you have a state law that requires a 5" body grip, this trap will fit your needs. A quality trap at a great price. "Magnum" style jaws. Heat treated springs to prolong spring life.

BRIDGER 5X5 BGT #155 10/19/2015
These BRIDGER #155s are solid and a great value. I dont run smaller BGTs. When I get to my sets I know that the critter that sets these off will be dispatched by the trap. Sure double springs are a bit slower to set but you have balance and power. If you want a better built 5x5 go to RGB/CTM but you get a lot of bang for the buck right here with BRIDGER. As with all of my BGTs, I replace the chains with cables. It helps reduce weight and reduces the hang ups with the other traps and gear. Good luck out there trappers!!!

great traps for the price 1/12/2015
Bought some of these last season to try. They are a little tough to set but knock fisher and marten out stone cold! Now if they were only approved to use in Canada..

need to be redesigned!! 10/4/2014
They are hard to set on the middle trigger notch because the eyes on the springs are to small. Im not very impressed with them. The springs dont come together easily or close enough to be a quality piece of equipment. Id like to see them with 160 springs. I will be replacing these with 5x5 Northwoods or CTM after marten season is over. You get what you pay for!

quality control 5/28/2014
i was very unhappy to see that the quality of steel being used is less then dukes. i run mostly duke 155s and they kill everything but they are exspencive so i tried one of these, first of i will say it is very clean trap it sure looks nice and i like the magnum style but the safetys dont keep the trp from compleatly shutting if accidently being fire while setting.they are very thin safetys , the chain well its pretty thin and i had a skunk get caught and it broke the chain so i had to replace that. and in the means of the struggle the jaw got bend out of shape, so now there is a gap and it is no longer a magnum trap on that side. i was surprized at the low quality of the steel being used, a nice trap for muskrats but i dont think i want to put a fisher of a boar coon in it.

Good trap for skunks 2/27/2014
I use these traps for skunk catching.. A wire cubby a can of sardines is all thats needed. Sometimes they spray a little sometimes they dont spray at all, they are always dead when I get there! The springs are a beast to set by hand.
