Muskrats are truly the “Bread and Butter” of the industry. Year after year they lead the country in total pelts and total dollars generated for the trapper. Is muskrat lure really worth using? Yes! If it’s used properly and it’s the right lure. The muskrat is a lot harder to “Lure” consistently than a fox ever thought about being! Bread and Butter is a blend of several ‘rat  calling agents and has a very piercing odor which is a must in ‘rat lures.

Wow this muskrat lure works on public land when someone is trapping on one side off the Slough. And you agree to trap on your side and they on theirs within days they will leave because the muskrats come over to your side of the slough!!!👍 Yes I have seen muskrats chew the ends off of lure caplets !!! A great muskrat lure that smells good too. P.s coon like this lure at times !!

Rat killer 12/25/2016
I put up hundreds of rats every year, this is the only lure I use. I like keeping things simple, if its a float, pocket, stick set, a couple drops on the carrot and down the road I go. If you get some on you no big deal, you will smell better than when you started.
