 Detailed Description

Boars Gone Wild - Randy Smith - DVD

Randy Smith's "Boars Gone Wild:  Rack'n up Coon in the Ice and Snow" DVD shows you how to rack up coon numbers in the dead of winter.  Once you understand the winter-rut trapping system, you can take as many coon in the winter as you can in the fall.

Snow, ice and single digit temperature can be beat and the prime big boar coons you will be catching are the money makers.  Plus you will get a true education on Lil' Grizz traps.  Randy clearly explains the coons' winter habits and winter locations in detail.  Watch as Randy catches 496 big, prime coon in 20 checks in the middle of a severe Pennsylvania winter, during January and February.

You can cash the $8,500 coon fur check from 20 checks just as Randy did.  Now when your competition has put away their coon traps for the year, you will be rack'n up coon in the ice and snow.  2 1/2 hours.

Specific situation coon video 5/17/2015
This video is really designed for one thing: to teach you how to catch coons in winter using dogproofs. Some other material is covered, as well.

Great On Location 11/2/2014
This is not a particularly entertaining video but thats not what Im looking for in a trapping video. Ive found this to be an excellant video for showing location for dry land trapping winter coon, regardless of your trap of choice or trapping method. Ive had this video for a few years and continue to watch it each season. You can learn a lot about location in this video simply through repetition. As far as entertainment goes, its actually as entertaining as most any trapping video. One of my favorites, and Ive seen quite a few. Theres other good info in it as well. Its been several months since Ive watched it right now but I do recall some good info on blind setting coon trails too.

not great 8/1/2013
pretty simple approach, set rock ledges and under bridges in bad weather. Much of it was not relevant to me living in big agriculture country of the Midwest. The video is filmed in Pennsylvania in big hill country will lots of caves and rocky ground. We have none of that here. I did not learn much. Video is slowing moving and very boring in spots. The shop talk parts are mind numbing...I sold my copy for less than I paid for it...
