Minnesota Trapline Products, Inc. Important Announcements Minnesota Trapline Products, Inc. is pleased to announce the purchase of the Bridger Trap Company from Terry and Jody Montgomery. We have proudly sold the Bridger Brand of traps since Terry first started in business. A mutual friendship developed between the Caven's and the Montgomery's over the decades and we were honored when Terry and Jody came to us to carry their tradition of excellence forward. Nathan Montgomery (Terry & Jody's grandson) will continue to operate Montgomery Trap and Supply Company in Utah and will be a major distributor for us in the western states. Best wishes to Terry and Jody in their much deserved retirement and prayers for better health to them both. Nathan is like family to us and with the lessons he has been taught by his grandparents he will go far in the trapping industry. Our Minnesota Brand Traps will continue to be made right here in Minnesota as always. The Bridger traps will continue to be made in the current facility in Taiwan for the time being. When we see something in the Bridger line that can be done cost efficiently in Minnesota we will bring that home to employ more people here. Over the next year we will be making positive changes to the already popular Bridger line of traps without raising prices. The purchase of the Bridger brand was for future generations. With our children in the business plus the many young talented people we have at MTP Nancy and I consider this a good long-term move. The trapping business has been our life and this is our vote of confidence that the trapping trade will long out live us. |
